How does that engine not fail for oil starvation? Or for that matter, how does he keep the oil from spilling out of it?

That’s a good question.  And let’s also not overlook the issue of fuel spilling out and other problems with the fuel system.

You can see that he’s made much of tanks and containers, presumably for fuel, but whether an oil pan or a dry sump, and I’m not Ramblin’ Rover, but I’m pretty sure there’s gravity required in a more-or-less downward direction, for the engine to stay lubricated.

His experiment would be much more interesting and sensible if it were electric.
